exhaust manifold botes?

hey guys so i have my car ripped apart doing head gaskets and while taking it apart i realized i had 2 bolts with the heads broken off and one missing in the one exhaust manifold. so i scratched my head and continued taking apart. later on that day i took 2 of the good bolts to home depot, auto zone, ace hardware, and tractor supply in an effort to get a few more bolts and no dice. the 4 outer bolts on each manifold are shorter then the 2 inner. so i'm looking for a few of 2 different kinds. i threaded them into the gauge at home depot and seems m8x1.00 fit pretty good. so thats what i got at tractor supply but they thread in about 1/4 inch then get really tough so i stopped.

help!?

is it because they are standard thread? why don't you try an auto parts store or a dealer? and auto zone doesn't count. go to napa.
