Making a run to the beach today
if anyone is interested in meeting up in Beach Haven on LBI. I'm heading down to check out a couple of possible rentals for late in the summer and I plan on heading to the Ketch for happy hour on the deck around 4:30 to chill out and catch the sunset. Just look for the white 2000 SS with the mountain bike on the back, or the guy at the bar with a Camaro shirt!

Yup, nice waves and riptide! $1 Coronas and $2 margaritas at the Ketch during happy hour(s)! Got to scout out a couple of potential rentals so I think we're good to go. I definitely plan to head on down for another Sunday happy hour soon. Oh yeah, good looking bartendters too!  The best part is that it's outside on the deck overlooking the bay. I think I got at least 23-25 mpg so it wasn't that bad of a trip.

I've been to LBI a few times, a few of my aunt's and uncles have boats, we take a ride up there and dock up on the bay side, on the south end of the island. Tucker's bar/grille FTMFW.

Tuckers is ok, kinda old school. If everything else fails, head over to Tuckers! We go over to Buckalew's once in a while too. Beach Haven used to be a fun place with drink and party all night places with bands playing, but now it's more 'family oriented'. The worst part was trying to deal with the people that just don't understand that 55 mph is the speed limit on 72 and 539! There were more people lined up doing 45 mph for no reason so I had to keep passing people just to do the speed limit!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention there was a nice black 63 Corvette split window coupe and a red/burgundy 67 Chevelle SS396 that cruised by. Both sounded great!

That black 63 vette lives near Fantasy Island in Beach Haven...I always see it there. Never seen the Chevelle before though.

Yeah, that black Vette is a few blocks down from Fantasy Island, I remember seeing it there last year. The Chevelle sounded real healthy so I'm sure it wasn't stock!
