Hey guys, about a month and a half ago I bought a 1994 Camaro as a project car (not my DD). It has the 3.4 with a manual transmission, its maroon, and it has t tops. I love it. The car was beat up when I bought it, the radio didnt work, passenger window didnt work, the trunk didnt open, and the interior was beat up. Ive since gotten the radio working, window working, trunk working, and am almost done redoing the interior. Ive heard that this is a great site to get help and info from. Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Thanks for the replies and the warm welcomes. I am about 10 minutes outside of Trenton in a city called Hamilton. I only have one picture of the car, the body itself is in good condition, the paint however is not. There is paint damage to the right side of the front bumper and the clear coat is peeling off on the left quarter panel.
Future plans for the car are a V8 swap (not sure if I want to go LT1 or LS1), painting the car white (leaving the roof black), and redoing the suspension so that it handles a little better. There are a bunch of minor details that I am leaving out but thats the main plan.

			Welcome!
Screw the v8 swap and keep the 3.4! Good to see another one on the board, even if not for long.

The car did not come with center caps, if i decide to keep the stock wheels then I will worry about that later. I have considered keeping the 3.4, especially after reading about a head and intake manifold swap off of a 3500 engine gaining 40hp. Then I figured that with bigger injectors, cam, maybe high compression pistons it could probably push some decent numbers for a V6.
By the train station near sloan? I live right around the corner from Steinert High School.

So do I need a certain amount of posts in the "introduction" section before I can post elsewhere? Because I can post here but nowhere else.

Yea Hamilton isnt really that interesting, thats why I had to buy a project car to keep myself occupied :loo:, Im really glad I did too.I work on Sunday anyway, plus Id be embarrassed to bring it to a meet, the interior is totally torn apart, have a donut on the car while I get the money to replace a flat (its my second car so its not really an emergency), and the paint looks like crap.

  | Welcome to the site. You might not get any compliments right away, but no one here will give you any criticism. You bought what you could afford and have done well in improving what the original owner did not care about. With time, effort and money when you have it, you'll get a lot of pleasure knowing you made a lady out of a whore. Good luck, and keep the V/6. The problems of installing a V/8 in a modern car that was not meant for it, requires a ton of time and money(computer changes/wiring/suspension/transmission/etc.). Save your money for a real LT1 or LS1, and if you have fixed up this car the right way, you'll most likely make a decent profit if you do most of the work yourself.
