Anyone running coil overs on a non-strut front end ?

Got any comments to make about them ?

Things you woulda done different ?

Spring rates ??

LCA reinforcements ? Aftermarket control arms ?

Running? Eh, no. Installed? Yeah.

I've got QA1 coilovers on DSE upper and lower control arms. The QA1 stuff will fit in a stock A-Arm setup on 1st and 2nd gens but I'd reinforce the mounting pad area and shock nut for sure. I have the Pro Coil GM big block setup on there now. I think they are progressive springs.

Do you know the rate ?

I have the progressive SBC springs....and a set of 700lb springs

365/465. Oh, and I would definetly spring for the spring mount bearing kit. Makes height adjustments much easier.
