You can tell by the wording that its not from the police department. It sounds like it was written by a myspacer. Police documents do not use excessive periods ".....", questions, or feel like you're reading someones blog when you go through it. sorry, but not buying it.

that was my impression too, especially with the crappy punctuation.

http://www.snopes.com/crime/warnings/carjack.asp
btw, i have a warning for all of those in the Toms River area:
Toms River Wal-mart scam Warning!
A word of warning for those of you who may be regular Toms River Wal-mart customers. Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get a few odds and ends for the family has turned out to be quite traumatic.
Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you!
Here's how the scam works:
Two seriously good-looking 20-21 year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the trunk. They both start wiping your windscreen with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say "No" and instead ask you for a ride to another store.
You agree and they get in the back seat.
On the way, they remove their cloths and start having each other. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and performs orally on you, while the other one steals your wallet.
I had my wallet stolen July 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, and 24th. Also August 1st, 3rd, twice on the 7th, three times just yesterday and very likely again this upcoming weekend.
btw, Toms River Wal-mart has wallets on sale, two for $10...

Damn. I went to the walmart in Manahawkin last night and was approached by a middle aged dude who came up to me and started telling me about how his house was struck by lightning and it had caught on fire and then wanted to know where I was from and I was thinking wtf. I was with two pretty good looking underage girls(don't worry, I'm only 17) and thought maybe he was just trying to get a closer look at them, but after reading this I'm starting to think maybe he was trying to get me to feel sorry for him and offer him money. After I started to ignore him I think he got the hint and walked away. I guess in this economy people will do anything for money. Sorry for the long post lol

haha, I believed the original post but not yours. I was thinking, how stupid can you be to loose your wallet like 20 times in a month. It was good for a laugh though
