locating 02 sensor wire
I see it running past the block and across to the passenger side but from there I can't see it from up top. I don't feel like jacking the car up to chase the wire lol so I figured I'd ask if anyone knew exactly which wire it is before going through the firewall.
Thanks!

Does this look like it? Checking quick before work this morning, this looks like it goes into that harness going through the fender.

starter lead would be 4 or 6 gauge...that big black wire is 4 gauge. that one you have pictured does look a little large though, about 12 gauge

Ted, the O2 sensor is on the driver side if that helps you locate it better. It is a purple wire, but that usually has a connection to something...not sure of the color of the wire after the connection to the harness

That wire you have a pic of should be for the blower motor I think.
Wait maybe not since its on the front of the motor. But I can probably say with confidence that its not your O2 wire.

OK, just went and checked on mine. Mine goes from the sensor, into the bundle that T's off near the Master Cylinder, runs in the harness that lays across the back of the motor, and heads into the fender to the ECM.
I have it pulled out a little in this pic.

Thanks for the help guys. From up top it looked like the wire ran towards the front of the block and across but I must be wrong. I can see that the 02 wire off the sensor goes into a harness wrapped in that plastic protector along the block but I guess the way it enters just makes it appear to go toward the front but in reality goes behind the MC as Tim showed. I'll be able to mess with it tomorrow.

The ignition switch lead (~10g) to the solenoid, not a battery cable (4g in pic). Tim could be right about blower fan wire too. Both are sizable PPL wires.
O2 sensor wil be much smaller wire, ~18g-20g
This WD shows ppl (changing to black)?

Got it! Thanks guys, I needed it for my air/fuel (pretty light show). I got that hooked up and wires ran for the FP gauge but had to exchange it because the LED's blew. I'll have pics of the complete pod install later in the week when that gauge comes in.

Yep. That purple one should be a starter wire, either 10 or 12 gauge.
