My brother has had it for a while now. Ive listened to it a few times, and its very good. My brother was trying to explain the signifigance of it. He said that St.Anger was bad for Metalica Fans looking for a return to the past, but the music wasn't too bad.

edit: just ripped and burned the CD.

This just in Anthrax sold out big time.
I think that half of Death magnetic is VERY good, Cyanide, Judas Kiss, and two other songs on there which I havent memorized yet... They remind me of the old stuff. A couple songs remind me of load and a couple of black album. Its kind a mix mosh but i still think alot of the rhythm riffs remind me of load/reload and the lead reminds me of the good ol thrash. Actually kind of a cool mix if you think about it.

That wasn't sellout rap wasn't big then. That was a real chance they took back then. Public enemy was hardcore rap then. And that song is still better than unforgiven1 2 or 3.

I don't mean to keep that is Metallica, but I heard the album and don't understand all the hype. This album does not make up for the last 3 abortions. Plus there have been alot of great albums released this year. Did anyone get Judas Priest's Nostradamus? Masterpiece! How about Slipknot's, Walls Of Jericho, or Straight Line Stitch's new albums? Maybe Keep of Kalessin, Kataklysm,Into Eternity,Kingdom of Sorrow,In Flames,Children of Bodom,Ihsahn or Opeth?

 | OPETH 's album is brilliant! Listen to the tracks "Porcelain Heart" and "Heir Apparent". If you don't think they're as good as "Ghost Of Perdition" and "The Grand Conjuration" I'll buy you the new Metallica album, Kasey.
