What a great game last night!  I think it was mismanaged so bad by Charlie Manuel but they still pulled it out. I still don't understand why they pitch to Manny at all.

Ugh...only one horrible city can make it into the WS. Both cannot. I already had to not watch the Egirls vs Pats a few years ago in the Super Bowl.
Come on LA and DRAYS!!

Wait, Philly is a **** city and LA isn't?  Wow. I don't like Philly as a city either but LA and everything in California needs to break off and sink into the Pacific.

I was cracking up at some of the Philly "sports fans" I work with. nothing but negatives to say about Torre, funny, he has more world series rings than the Phillies playoff appearances since 1990. lol
Phillies bats are on fire and they will need to stay that way. Rays pitching has been great this postseason.

TB looks unbeatable right now. Amazing how that team came out of nowhere to make it this far. Hopefully the Phils can wrap it up today.

I dislike Philly, despise Boston, but have never been to LA. Well, I was there when I was 2 years old, but that doesnt count.
My feelings are mixed about the Dodgers. I dont want Philly to win. I want to see Torre make it to the WS and perhaps win, but...here is the big one...I dont want to see Manny have another ring.
I would only like to see that if Manny beats Boston in the WS, but then that means that Boston beats TB in the ALCS, and I dont want that.
Im at a very tough time in my baseball life. Its like politics, Im voting for the lesser evil.
All in the mean time, the eff'in Yanks have a billion dollar team, but I use the term "team" loosely. What made the Yanks great wasnt billion dollar squad, Hell, in 1996 the team was lead by a Rookie Short Stop, with a general group of no name players. But they were all great. They didnt hit 60+ home runs, there were no "me" players, they were for the team. With the interjection of these billion dollar guys, it turned it from a team to a me squad.

And they still pitched to Manny! He kind of hung that pitch up there. Madsen is looking better every game throwing 95-97 mph! The biggest obstacle might be starting the series on the road.
