So i only expect it to sound louder than stock with a better idle sound and noticeable enough above 3,000 rpm to turn at least 1 head.

Im not impressed by the sound. I guess you really need a cam to make it sound worth while... Thanks for posting it, Now I know a mufflex exhaust will be perfect for me.

i disagree actually. i think this exhaust sounds best with stock motor and stock manifolds. with long tubes and cam, everything sounds similar IMO

I will have to get some soon. It is a reasonable loud system, but the spintech muffler eliminates a lot of the LS1 rasp nicely.
Should have a sound clip with in the next week or so |

GMMG is the best sounding exhaust for the ls1 IMO. Sounds sick man and will sound even better with LT's and ORY.. Next mods get some subframes and LCA's! Makes a huge difference...

Those systems on an LS1 sound sick. Love the sound! I would really like to put on one of those my L98, but it would NEVER sound that good without a cam. Even with my Edlebrock THS headers and gutted cats, my BORLA sounds OK, but I really am impressed on how good it sounds and LOOKS!
