I miss winter especially the snow
I never realized how much i enjoyed winter in sussex county,NJ. Since living in NC. There has been no frozen precipitation. coldest it has gotten is 19* and last night it was 51 degrees and i was driving around at 10pm with the windows open.
The best part was the snow in nj. I would mostly be outside shoveling the snow. Thats how i made most of the money i had saved. I could spend all day outside and it wouldnt bother me. being towed behind a quad on a snow tube on the streets was great, sleding, riding bikes in the snow was crazy but fun.
Just seeing the snow, lake hopatcong frozen over, people snowmobling across the ice, ice sailing, ice skating, frozen water on the rocks on the side of the highway.
Its funny listening to these southern people here, all they want to see is an inch of snow and they call that a snow storm. They cant deal with the cold once it gets into the 50's the heavy coats come on and hats lol. I happened to get 3 pictures of the snow from northern nj yesterday texted to me and it made me think of this. maybe this thread doesnt interest you but im sure theres someone who can agree with me. And it better than me posting boring pictures that i havent posted in over 2 months.

i know this winter north jersey around hopatcong has gotten at least 2 feet total. by the end of the week possible negative temps at night.
1. before hallowen 8 inches
2. another storm that gave them like 10 inches
3. few small storms including yesterday of a few inches

F' Snow! Seriously I just want to ride my motorcycle and it eats at me every single day when I cant. I just picture it tucked in the tiny corner in my garage blocked by my Camaro that I can officially refuse to drive in the salt covered roads. The snow blows so enjoy the Carolinas while it lasts!

wonderful.
I like snow, I like watching my dog play in the snow, and I don't mind stuff like we just got 3-4 inches.. I do hate the melting part though when everything get ssloppy and my car gets muddy.
I'd rather be in NC, saving money on heat, and cruising around with the tops off.

Dude, the snow before Halloween royally sucked, but this is my third winter as a Sussex County resident and it's the first one that's really felt like one. I've had to plow the driveway three times and it's only January. I don't mind it so much as it's a small price to pay for living in one of the beautiful spots left in New Jersey. The only part that sucks to me is commuting while the snow is actually coming down. Everyone seems to forget how to drive and it takes me hours to get home.
