anyone listen to g-rock 106.3-106.5
thats what i usally listen to. well this mornings show was the same as ever then lunch time i turn it on and all their playing is hop-hop chit. sounds like KTU, very terrible music. their web page is all different and all info on the crew that worked there is gone. strange they would change formats in the middle of the day on a monday. oh well back to k-rock i guess!!

That station has been going to pot for a while now. Luckily I only get it while at the shorehouse.

what is brookdale's public radio station? they play great stuff. 105.7 or 104.3 and occasionally 95.9!

I'm actually kinda pissed G Rock switched formats. They were one of the only stations that played the Gaslight Anthem, and the PunkYard on Sunday nights kicked ass

I heard about this at about 5 o clock today. I'm glad they're gone. They killed B98.5 a few years back which was way better than 106.3. Anyway, Sirius Satellite radio FTMFW!

i prefered 106.3 to the rat 95.9 because i don't care for carl and marty in the morning. and that rockin(smoke 4 packs a day)robin annoys the hell ouit of me in the afternoon.actually met her once at casa comidas in long branch...what a pig!!!!
and 92.3 has dopey and aintfunny on in the am. far from my favorites. go ahead flame on how great they are but like howard stern there not for everyone.
and theres no cd player in my work truck so i guess it will be i-pod time for a while.

105.5,104.3, 92.3 all my favorites. But there is one more 101.9 RXP , They play some wired **** sometimes tho, and I liked G rock, but thats a drastic change over the span of ,what, 1day????

Yeah, 101.9 is pretty good.
As far as FM radio goes, "Pure Central" Jersey FTW. I get:
92.3 K-ROCK
93.3 WMMR
94.1 WYSP
95.1 WZZO
99.9 The Hawk
101.9 WRXP
102.9 WMGK
104.3 Q104.3
105.5 WDHA
Among others I'm sure I don't know about.

I just got off the phone with a friend whose dad works for the rat but has a lot of connections with ppl from g rock because he worked there up until a few months ago. Supposedly the new company came in this morning and fired everyone on the spot. No one knew this was comming. I heard that this morning is was a normal morning show and everything and at 12 noon it changed to the new format. It's supposed to be a new Top 40 station so it might be worth listening to, but idk. Just thought I'd let you know what kinda ******** the new company is to just flat out fire the old crew on the spot.
