I got a job!!!

Jeff doesnt settle for no burger flipping job....he settled to be the official guy that puts the salt on the fries......ok j/k, actually I just landed a job as an INternet Sales Consultant for Shore Toyota....so people, come in, say my name, make me look good Im so glad cause this opens the door wide open for my fiance to come here now, you dont know excited I am. i know ill be great at this cause I have a down to earth tone when dealing with customers, and many customers I helped when workign at Advance auto, and even for the Historics, still keep in contact with me, they loved me, I used to have my own damn line and peopel waited to be helped just by me when I worked there. Im not fake. so im glad to get this opportunity, and I will do this 110%...adn this time theres no fiberglass to be suckign in or tooling gel in the air.

All i have to say is this....all car salesmen are ****ign ********, and liars. So last week I went out for the drug test, which should take just a couple days.....its been a whole week since I did the test and they finally contact me just a few moments ago, heres how it went.

ST: Hi is this Jeff?
Me: Yes it is
ST: hi this is Vicky from SHore Toyota, Sorry about takign so long for the results, I guess while they do the drug testing they do the police backround check as well

First off this is B.S. If your the manager of the depatment for several years, and your just finding out that they do the criminal backround check, you need to get trained, or your just making an excuse why you took so long

Me: Oh thats fine
ST: Well unfortunately during that time we filled the Position, but we will be transferring your information over the Steve in Sales and he might be hiring in a little while ( actually it turned out to be in a month... I dont have a ****ing month, I need a job NOW!!) ................


As far as im concerned the rest is ********, basically they held my test results until they could get another person. Now the wierd thing is they stopped runnign that add the other week after I had come in, so they were lookign for someone on the inside to come there while they were holding me off. They wasted my ****ign week, I had **** to do, but I blew things off so I could wait for their phone call telling me when to start. Im so pissed, and yet I dont know what to say, there was so much I wantedto say, but I dont know. so people ,DONT BUY FROM SHORE TOYOTA IN HAMILTON TWP, they dicked me over, and they'll do the same to you. I really really needed this job, and to get boned, I cant believe it, now having my fiance coming is back on shakey ground.

I'm really skeptical that you would wanna work for my step dad in Fuddruckers. I was offering it to him as a temp job (9/hour or so) as help. Well I would have to ask him if he needs people. But I do know they fired one of the managers (obviously manager gets paid more) for being an idiot

You don't have a record and didn't have drugs in your system at the time of testing, did you?

As much as my friends dont want to believe me, but know for a fact, Ive never dont a drug in my life. not one hit, not one pill, nada. I watched certain family members try that stuff, and I never wanted to be anythign like them. Also I have no record except for a few driving tickets, but nothing I ever went to jail for. Both of those are clean as a whistle.

Hmmm....did they ask any questions on the application regarding any past criminal charges? Did you give them permission to do a check?

I "believe" it's federal law that you have to give them written permission to do such a check.
