What are some cool/fun things to do in Philly? Any cool spots? Any resturaunts that are good?
The gf and I are going for a little weekend get away, need ideas.

Chinatown is a fun place to just walk around. So is South Street, and some of the stuff in old city. A cheesesteak tour, perhaps? The sports arenas are right there, and so is the Zoo and art museum. If you don't mind driving a little out of the city, Manayunk has some good bars and restaraunts (a little down 76 by Route 1).
As for restaraunts, try Monk's ( http://www.monkscafe.com/) the Capital Grille, Fogo de Chao, or really almost anything.

depends what kind of stuff you like to do really. There are some great restaurants in old city, south street has lots of cool shops and "interesting" people, northeast has some great bars, there is a classic car museum in the city too.
Philly has a pretty good public transit system, a little pricey, but effective enough.

Hit up the Museum and walk up the "Rocky steps." Very cool place, inside and out; lots of neat art on display.

In the hotel now, and right across the street from City Hall. This city has a nice look to it at night, very cool.
Just put in for some room service, going to bed, and then exploring the city tomorrow.

Little late now Josh!
Im home now, relaxing and enjoying the rest of my weekend before I have to go back to work tomorrow.
Philly is an interesting city. A mix of old and new, but not too bad. Its part NYC, part Washington DC, part Camden.
