I'm setting the Mustang up to run in the 14 second and slower class. Dark gray car with white rocker stripes and GTA badges.

I usually pit next to the finish line with a bunch of other domestic cars if anyone is interested. I try to keep as far away as possible from the import insanity.

would this be a bad day to go for my first time at the track? a few friends and I may go watch. I was thinking of maybe racing but is it going to be insanely packed?

It is usually a zoo. They usually limit to 500 cars (and hit the limit). Most of the import's are totally clueless on racing and track saftey. I'm on full alert when driving up to the staging lanes. On the other side lots of first timers out. Almost like going out on New Years Eve. If you do want to race get to the gate early like 9am. Gates open at 10 and go directly to the tech line. That way you will be ready to go first call. If you want to discuss anything about racing stop by. I have the dark grey mustang and will pit by the finish line (score board).

i think i'll hold off until a calmer night. wanna get some runs in while it's cool out though. i'd rather have less people there so there's less pressure haha. might still go spectate.
