Delima, I want a camaro!!
So I want a camaro badly! I like my car but to get as much hp as a stock ss I would be spending some bucks as theres no aftermarket for it and I would have to hunt for used cobra parts for it. Some parts are discontinued ex: headlight bulbs Security module and a vast aray of other parts that fail on a car of its age, and there expensive. At the same time I want to get my nova on the road I have money saved to get my body work done, and have all the parts. I can sell the lincoln back to the previous owner cuz he wants it back for some reason So what should I do sell my car and use my saved money to buy a camaro and take a shot at the body work myself, or put alittle money into the lincoln (ex: wheels, tint, smoke headlights-taillights) and have the nova done?

save the nova, sell the lincoln, buy a nice ls1 car. you could put a down payment on a decent ls1 camaro, you could even buy one for less than 10 grand if you look hard enough.

+1. in this economy its a buyers market. and if you want to try to make a few bucks sell the lincoln back to the guy for more than you bought it. a guy on this forum did that and made a grand in one week

Sell the lincoln, get a DD/beater, fix the nova. More than 1 project car usualy results in no completed project cars. If you want a camaro really bad, sell the nova too.

Damn where the hell did you get yours from?
Dealer is having trouble moving from $9200 to $8500 for a formula with 65,000 miles.

Dealers hate to move on price, they somehow think they deserve some magical mark up because they have those flag banners and people with name tags.

I have enought parts to get the nova on the road the body just wolnt be done which is fine I just want to drive the thing the interior is nice, and so is the engine and under cariage. If I sell the lincoln I will have enough to buy a decent f-body.

My formula is the only used car ive ever been at a loss with. Ive sold all my other cars for either a profit or breaking even. Id have to sell the formy for about 2200 to break even with parts/purchase price . But other than that, my aunt bought a 98 6 speed t/a brand new, has 80k on it now, still has the original clutch. Its never needed anything outside of bulbs and a tune up. and 1 set of tires
