Finally at the last minute, EVERYTHING is coming together and shaping up nicely for my dad and I to pull all nighters tues and wed to get my car running. We picked up the chassis today, going to get the trans tomorrow, the engine is supposed to be dynoed and in our hands wed evening.
The plan is tomorrow: drain gear oil and replace, mount trans on engine plates, get trans cooler and radiator hooked up, put all plumbing that can be put on in place for wed.
Then wed: get engine, drop it in, hook it up, get it fired up. If its dry out maybe make a few mild test runs here.
Thurs: fix any problems, leave for Atco in the afternoon to hopefully make it to Atco in time to sweet talk them into letting me make a few runs on the muffled night.
Friday-Sunday: Go racing!!
Anyone who wants to watch some very tight bracket racing for big $$ should come down.
Oh yeah, then Sunday evening I leave for Seattle for a week and a half
Maybe I'll finally get some sleep on the plane.
