there is a saying "you get what you pay for"
you will not find "cheap" and "high quality" used together very often.

Cheap, Fast, Good.

Pick any two.

Ok beyond the snide comments...

Anyone have a place local where they would do a set of rims?

PM HardcoreZ28. He does powdercoating and the stuff comes out great. You will most certainly get what you pay for. If you want it to last and look good after the first few months of use, pay to get it done well or don't do it at all.

Yes as Bill said I do powdercoating at my shop. PM me specifics of what you're looking to have done such as color, size of parts, etc and I can get back to you with a price. Also let me know if the parts will already be stripped or if they will need to be blasted.

I have used King Coatings in Allentown, Pa. did all my suspension, subframe, rad support, and bunch of littles for 400. all semi gloss and gloss black. happy with finished product. I had the parts sandblasted before I took them there.

There's also a place in central Jersey called Acme Powdercoating on Port Reading Ave in Carteret. They do an excellent job and are dirt cheap. I think to do a set of wheels is about $160 last time I got quoted, depending on color.

They powdercoated the upper half of the motor on my Stang. I did the valve covers, upper intake, throttle body, egr, intake tubing from the supercharger to the fender tube, radiator brace, and a few other odds and ends...$120!!!
