Definitely cool. I cant help but not be that impressed though. I mean a 200,000 something dollar car with probably that much money in work and theres guys that took one of those little svo 80's turbo 4cyl mustangs and ran that fast also on street tires.

I believe the bumpers off in the pictures to show off the goods.

Lol I've never been a fan of that. I've always said if I ever struck it rich I'd live in a normal sized house and probably just be driving a done up g8 or new camaro.

You should stop living in the world of the best bang for the buck... You know you could make a honda run faster than that for 1/2 the money, but it would still be a honda.

absolutely awesome car that you cant help to drool over, but it amazes me all of the money and time that would go into this build, and it runs a 9.1 down the track?

I agree it is an awesome car. They could do a little more to get a high eight second pass out of it. Also, these cars arent made for the 1/4 mile, so its pretty cool that he had that in mind when building it. There are plenty of other cars that you can build for that price that would kill it in the 1/4 but if you have the money and the want to do it, why not?
You cant always look at cars and base the price on the 1/4 times, if that was the case I wouldnt want the new Camaro! The Camaro I want will cost me around $36,000, I built my Nova for around $16,000, I could only imagine how much faster I would be if I put that extra $20k into it!

Half the money? Try like an eighth. I know someone that runs 10's with just a few thousand dollars into his Honda. It's still a Honda but it's damn fast, and still a street car.

.....and yet it is still just a Honda.
When you get into the realm of cars that the Lambo is in it is not just about ET's or lap times any more, it is about status and style. Could it be built to be much quicker? Of course. Does that make it any less bad ass of a street car? HELL NO!!!

I'm going to smash my head against the keyboard.
Seriously, why are people complaining? If you watch the video, in the beginning there is a still of the car lifting a front tire off the ground, and running 9.1's in a full interior, full bodied car is nothing compared to a 10 second tin canned car. At the end of the day I can race the piss out of my finely crafted piece of Italian machinery and still drive home in the lush comfort of my finely crafted Italian bolstered heated leather seats, a/c, dual climate control, 8 speaker system in cruise control, and still run circles around your straight line only car on a turn.
The internet... wow

You're wasting your time. If a clapped out Hon-duh runs low 9's it's OBVIOUSLY better than that Lambo...duh!

The fact that they got such a ridiculous power plant, stuffed so neatly in that area is a testament to the skill that the people have putting something like this together.
This F-body nutswinging is killing me.
