Well maybe we can all sit around and HOPE that the N Koreans will CHANGE their mind about pointing a missile at one of out islands. I am just so damn happy people ignored logic and voted to CHANGE things for the better.

It's a good thing we did... If we didn't i wouldn't be surprised if we had troops there already. I'm all for using force WHEN NEEDED. Personally I think they're really just testing everyone's patience. They have NO allies in this situation right now. Russia and China kinda was their allies have both condemned their actions and Russia has flat out said any missiles fly over there air space and they will shot it down and they will view it as an act of aggression. For the first time in a long time we actually have respect from our allies and the rest of the world. If we decide to be cowboys again you can throw that away. It's not what we need. Especially when it comes to sending more troops and spending more money. We need to use our heads this time.

yea i wouldnt worry, you;ve got a better chance of being abducted by FARC crossing our mexico border( which they do do frequently) than north korea successfully launching a missle that leaves their waters without us knowing it and not shooting it down as it gets anywhere near hawaii. i should also point out that japan is the south korean fall back in the event of war. i think their Air defense is ample. also north korea has the latest in helen keller guidance packages. i dont think we have to worry yet... there is certainly way more of a threat from our illegal neighbors to the south that gets burried than that of north korea. seeing as people are actually being kidnapped and killed down south, and korea is only a threat. i think i may have rambled

no country respects us, they were all so thrilled when Obama was elected because they know how weak we are now. And last I checked we're still sending troops and wasting money, not much CHANGE there...
They have been tracking the N. Koreans for a while with this stuff, I wouldn't worry about it too much. What islands are you going to? JM and I went the end of last July into August and it was awesome! We were in Oahu and Maui

I'm not talking about the people that hate us. I'm talking about our allies.. You know the ones that we pissed off with our crazy crap the last few years. They were happy because finally we wont act like we own the planet and actually act mature. War isnt like some fist fight. Someone pisses you off you snuff em and deal with things later. We're talking young men and women being put in harms way for what? Dont get me wrong, while i proudly admit I'm a democrat, I'm not fool. And I damn sure aint some of these crazy ass ACLU liberals either. He'll they piss me off just as much as the crazy far right. But I think when it comes to our military, which involves an ubber amount of money and lives, we should be VERY careful before we do things. Something that hasnt been done in some time...
