A little diasppointed with the PC version, as it doesn't have dedicated servers (yet). This is InfinityWard's attempt at making the PC version the same as the console version. Other than that, singleplayer rocks.

Iraq sucks btw. Still stoked to get this game. Supposedly there is some sort of "zombies" mode online i heard? and it looks like you play as the army ick.

There will be no dedicated serves coming from Infinity Ward, period. They're using the economy as an excuse. I played MP last night, the guy must have had a good PC because it was just find. No dedicated servers does suck though.
Single player is just insane.

I'll throw the BS flag on the economy excuse. MW2 is projected to haul in around half a billion dollars... they can't possibly say they couldn't script dedicated servers because of the economy. There is a petition on IW's forums to script dedicated servers. The main reason I buy Multiplayer FPS's on the PC is for that reason (and Keyboard + Mouse > Controller). MW2 is gonna sit on my shelf collecting dust while I wait for DICE and EA to release Bad Company 2, or until IW does something about the MP.

I know it's BS but that was one of the reasons. What burns me up is they took the console version and slapped it on a PC DVD, they wanted all 3 system versions to come out at the same time. IW and Activision pretty much laughed at the 200K+ petition signatures.
If this is going to be the theme of FPS games on PC(no dedicated severs, HAVING to use clients like Steam install/play the game) I'll go buy a console tomorrow.
This game is awesome..it's just a shame it was a cluster**** installing it and having no dedicated servers.

because in my down time i want to continue living the life

lol im not even a hardcore gamer man. i just pick up the sticks every so often and jam out. as far as the switching stuff in games....yeah even if i played games on the cpu i wouldnt be able to do that sooo yeah
anyway.....
