January Car of the Month Submissions
Anyone can post one picture of only their Camaro or Firebird in this thread.
Please include your name and a short paragraph (at least a few sentences) describing the mods done to the car and/or a short story about the car as well.
If this is not posted in this thread by the time voting begins, your car will not be included in the vote.
At the last week of the month we will post a poll that will last for one week and the winner will get to spend the following month showcased on the home page of the site. Past winners will not be eligible to win again for 12 months.
All submitted pictures should be a minimum size of 640 x 480, as this is the size of the image that will be posted on the home page. If you aren't sure of the size, post it up the largest image you have (within reason).
If you have submitted a car in the past, but were not selected as a winner, feel free to submit another pic. You can continue to enter each month until you win.
Please limit this thread to posts submitting pictures only. Comments and other chit-chat will be removed.

01 Camaro SLP SS M6. I just got this car last month after searching for years. I purchased the car sight unseen on e-bay from a guy from the burbs of D.C., and to say the deal was shady is an understatement. Its the exact color and options I wanted, and to make things better it has a 6.0l swap, and makes 407RWHP 380RWT. I grenaded the rear before I even owned the car for a month and it now has a Moser 12 bolt with 4.11's. Ive wanted a Pewter SS ever since my uncle bought his new in 2000, and Im happy to finally have one of my dream cars. It will never be for sale, and its a blast to drive.

2001 Camaro Z/28
"The Elusive Striped Catfish"
I purchased this baby, bone stocks, with the exception of GTS Blackouts back in August 2005. It has come a long way since then. It has gotten quite a few appearance mods. It sits on chrome 17" SLP Firehawk wheels wrapped in BFG's. Also, it includes new pewter paint with a fresh new set of long-styled black hockey stripes, a bolt-on VFN Fiberglass 3" cowl hood with sunoco stripes, right down to the black billet grill with an old school Z/28 badge. It is currently awaiting an installation of a RKSport 5" Highrise Ducktail spoiler. It has 69,000 miles, SLP bolt on's, Pacesetter LT's, TSP Catted Y Pipe, and Pypes catback w/hooker tips for a thoaty, yet slightly obnoxious sound. It also has some suspension goodies, Pioneer head unit, and 4 7" Clarion speakers. The winter months will consist of an MS3 cam-only setup.

Name: Bryan Ames
Car: 1998 Trans Am
I bought the car almost a year ago up in north jersey. When I bought the car it had kooks longtube header, highflow cats, and a magnaflow catback. It also had a 3600 Vig, tune and a moser rear with 373s. Since I have owned the car i added the a Stock ws6 ram air hood and a set of MT Drag Radials. I also recently put C6 Z06 wheels to cruise around on. The best I have done at atco is a 12.37 @ 110. H

2001 Camaro SS M6 with a lid and LoudMouth Catback
2 summers ago I crashed my 1987 IROC-Z and the second i found out it wasn't fixable i said i wanted a black Camaro SS M6 and almost exactly 1 yr later I had saved enough money to buy the car cash from a guy who couldnt afford it anymore. Its the first car i bought my self and to say I'm happy with it is an understatement.

This is my 1999 Chevy Camaro Z28. I wanted another 4th generation F-Body for a daily driver. So, In early April of 2009, i bought this car as a 6 speed roller and put an 01 LS1 engine in it. The car came with the majority of the appearance mods that are in this picture. I recently picked up some American Racing TTM wheels 17x9" fronts with 275 40 tires and 17x11 rears with 315 35 tires. Go-fast mods are FTRA, SLP lid, ported stock maf and tb, SLP LM1 catback and a Chummma tune. Best ET to date- 12.26@112.26mph on a 1.75 60'

I bought the car as a roller when I was 18. I'm now 21 and is powered by a cam-only stock headed ls1. I changed the front clip to a 98-02 clip as well. Most of the car was built and tuned by Charles at Sick Speed Performance. This picture is a 1.341 60' time. The result of this pass was 10.35@126 which spun a bearing down 5 mph from the previous pass. The car is #6 all time for a cam only ls1 fbody.
