Ouch, I had a flight where there was only 4 TV's on the plane ( NorthWest) So you had to squint if you were a ways away, and the ear plugs they give you ALWAYS break, or you only get sound through one ear, so you might as well lip read lol. and 14 hours of that ****, **** it, thank god I bring fat ass books with me to keep me occupied.

You guys had some bad entertainment experiences. Last time I flew everyone had a tv available. It was built into the headrest on the seat in front of you. Granted you had to pay 6 bucks to use it for the duration of the flight, but it was well worth it. They had the whole Direct tv range available, plus 3 different movies that played right after another. I think airlines should hurry up and make this a new standard, more money for them and a better flying experience!

Delta, Continental, and JetBlue all have them, and I think all 747-ER's do regardless of airline. I don't think it's airline specific- it's plane specific.

Every Qantas plane I've used on my last few trips had that and it was all free
TV, Movies, Games, etc. I think I'm a little spoiled expecting that as an option now
Pretty sure Continental had their own stuff too from NY to LAX

longest flight ive ever been on way to either denver or the caymans, not really sure which... denver flight back sucked balls though, i was afraid the wings were gonna rip off the plane, but flying over the midwest is the only cool thing about it

Any body ever get " Jeffrey" on their flight? I did.
For those of you who don't who or the story about Jeffrey, look up Bill Cosby's standup when he was on a plane, you'll soon understand.
I just got done flying over the Pacific, and had a 5 hour layover in Detroit, I just wanted to get home. Little did I know a family bought the seats surrounding my window seat, with Jeffrey ( real name Joseph, it's etched into my head) sitting direectly behind me, kicking the seat, and screaming at times to be funny. about 15 minutes before touchdown I had to turn around and let her know about what I just went through before getting on that flight. I turn back around and she just told Jeffrey to stop......last 2 minutes. Best part was as we began to land he yelled out Were gonna crash!! made some heads turn to say the least.
I wish I had a bottle of Ritalin on me at the........no not to give him one, but to smash him in the face with it

flying is fun, for me any commercial flight, no matter how bad is better than military flights in say a c17 or a c130. in sept, from Atlanta to JFK, i fell alseep before we even took off and woke up on descent, lol.
