Stuck at home with a broken leg

Was going out of my mind, with nothing to do, so I got my dads airbrush and an old helmet. I was just playing with some designs and thought I would share. The helmet was in pretty crappy shape, but I made the best of it. Let me know what you think, dont mind the ****y cell phone pics.

This was my first week with an airbrush. I do artwork and I also like to paint, my dad had an airbrush laying around and it looked like fun. I am just messing with water base right now, so I can paint in my room without the fumes. Also, with the waterbase I can wipe it off and do something completely different on the same helmet. I plan on buying a new helmet for racing this year and I want to do my own design.

it is nice but i would maybe do something on the "forehead" area. i see there is another shade of red and it might be more evident in person, if not though i would throw something cool up there

Yes it is more noticable in person, there are flames in the front. Here are some pics.

The helmet kind of reminds me of a cross between Speed Racer & Hot Rod.

I'll try something, see what happens. Then I'm gonna strip it down and try something completely different.

Why what did you have in mind, do you want it repainted black, or do you want a design on it?

Thanks, I just went to the paint store today and got some supplies so I can do more elaborate art work ie: flames, skulls, ripped metal and whatever else I can think of.
