my mom took my sister to work in the trailblazer, 5 minutes after they leave my phone rings and its...... "mike, how do you turn on 4 wheel drive?" ugh they didnt even make it a block, so i walked over and they had the snow higher than the front bumper.......

i knocked the snow off the bumper, turned stabilitrack off and tore right through with no issue......

btw... its got full time awd, no turning it on....... lol

I didn't get stuck in my Saturn, and that thing has passenger tires advertised for only "light snow." Even when plowed in by the trucks, it made it through without fuss. I guess Long Island got no where near as much as NJ

I just pulled out the Tbird with no issues, I was surprised, traction control FTW.
Then again it does have a anemic 3.8 in it

My Denali rocked in the snow upstate here, I had Blizzak snow tires and i pulled out dozen of vehicles which were stuck all around base. In 4lo, the thing was unstoppable. Between the size of the truck and the grip, i could crawl through some pretty big drifts with ease. Now with my jeep, i dont try anything crazy, i just do what i need to in order to get where i must. If i dont need to go out, i dont. But i do miss the Denali.
Right after christmas... I found out my SKY doesnt like 18" snowdrifts... never again

My jimmy is pretty nasty in the snow. The Mickey Thompson Baja Radial tires are awesome. I get on it a little going around a corner and the front wheels just pull the truck straight...barely gets sideways. Awesome tires in the snow

i got a 4x4 89 silverado. i dont even both shoveling/snow-blower-ing around it. 31x10.5 regular tires on it and i never have any problems. ever. im one of those 4x4 that passes people when they insist on doing 10 mph when the speed limit is 45. i really feel if people are that scared to drive out in the weather they need to stay the **** at home and not be out at all. not to mention all these people out in little cars or 2wd trucks/cars who think if they go 75mph they wont get stuck in the snow.

I love my truck in the snow, i know its not invincible, but with 4x4, 3.73s and a limited slip it has not come close to getting stuck in snow yet

I stayed home with my 4x4. No sense in risking bouncing off a guard rail or have rig run me off the road because they feel that they need to go 60 MPH in 12" of snow.

I love how people have the "my **** is bigger then your **** because I get around without 4WD" attitude. Whoopidy doo!
I have many hours behind the wheel of F-Bodies and my 2WD Pickup in the snow. Only got stuck once (in the truck somehow, go figure). Does that mean F-Bodies handle snow just as well as a hummer?

I got a 4WD vehicle for beating around in the woods, I'm going to use it if I please in the snow. Why? Because I can. God Bless America D**NIT!

 | I don't believe that I can go EVERYWHERE. But I sat at a green light this morning watching a E150 van slovenly cross the intersection, spinning tires in the slush/snow and ice.

I'm not saying I'm invincible, but it helps.

There is a mark where i watched a Hummer H2 slam into a snow bank, was very entertaining. Guy got out yelling and screaming, and i just laughed ....then felt bad and helped.

It's not about going. It's about stopping! Or lack thereof. Too many people feel since they can go they can stop.

			Very true,
I downshift to engine brake and hit the brakes lightly early.

Now, in my truck 4wd seems to help me stop in the crappy stuff, probably for that very same reason. But that is regular stopping, not uh-oh stopping form 50 mph

My Durango Handles Pretty well in the snow. I parked my Durango in my dead end which doesn't get plowed and everybody told me i would need to shovel it out dismorning. Put it in 4 low and plowed through 3 1/2 feet with no problem.
