They didn't do it, at least for gens 1-3. You can call GM VVS in Oshawa Ontario and get a report from them (since your car was made in Canada) and it will tell you a lot about it- but won't give an option breakout or production run. You will just have info about :

1.) How many cars were made
2.) How many were made with your powerplant
3.) How many were made with each individual option

You can probably set up a stat equation to give a best estimate of how many were made with all of the options but that's still a guess.

EDIT: Here's what i gathered so far, there were 31,528 V6's made that year out of the 61,000+ camaro's made that year, and only 12,632 were painted black. I have 2 things that weren't a super popular item out of the 61,000. 27.4% came with leather seat, and 27.8 came wiht power pass. mirror, so that means there were 16,813 with leather, and 17,058 came with the pass. mirror powered. once again though, how many came like that in a V6, and in black. I'm not looking to have a one in 3 car, I'm sure it's a popular style, but most V6's I see werent decked out the way mine was. the only thing mine didnt come with was the bose or CD setup, but it was loaded for a V6.

Nasty, Im doing the happy dance right now, thank you so much mang. says I have 1 of 3 wiht those options. it's still a V6, but makes me happy to know just about howm any there are.

There are 3 1996 CAMARO 2 DR vehicles (0.005%) matching your exact options list. There are 5 (0.008%) with at least as many options.

My car is really common, why does this indicate that it's rare?

If you parked your car next to one of the hundreds or thousands of similar cars in our database you probably couldn't tell them apart, but that doesn't mean they aren't different.

For example, some may have an RPO listing for the plant in which they were built. If yours was one of only a few that came out of that plant with a given list of options, it would come back as rare. Another car may have all the same options but was built at a different facility and thusly it's considered different.

To check any combination of RPO codes to find how rare your vehicle is based on the most important codes, click here or make changes to the selection above.

When you get down to something that specific of course you'll be one in a few. How many options are available? How many color choices?
I've got all of you beat.
There are 1 1994 CAMARO 2 DR vehicles (0.001%) matching your exact options list. There are 24 (0.020%) with at least as many options.

There are 2 1995 FIREBIRD 2 DR vehicles (0.004%) matching your exact options list. There are 4 (0.008%) with at least as many options.

If you read the disclaimer, the statistical information includes the plant in which the car was built. I do not think this is very accurate at all but its nice to look at lol.

			Nasty...
So does that mean that my specific car is really that rare? I mean I rarely see one with the same blue-green flip-flop paint but I didn't think it was that rare. I'm just a little confused lol.

when you compare the EXACT options then yeah its possible. your talking all the way down to everything in the car. so yeah if you talk about it that way then yes. look at blackdouts car, its a v6 black camaro, you see plenty of them...but narrow it all the way down to little things such as interior trim, color, options blah blah blah then yes the scope can be narrowed all the way down.
rare? yes....desirable? thats another question |

That's pretty cool. I mean its the blue-green flip paint, light gray leather and carpet, charcoal trim power everything except seats M6 tranny. I like to think I have a desirable car lmao.
