Lightbulb

Hey guys as the title suggests I'm currently debating whether or not to throw a small shot of nitrous on my car. Current set up is a vortec head, lunati cammed 350 stroked to a 360. Makes about 450hp/460tq to the flywheel (hopefully will be on a dyno in the next 2 weeks). I've done most of the correct suspension work including wonder bar upfront, torque arm, lower control arm, posi in the rear 10bolt beefed up to hold the power(had an aussie 9') hedmans off the motor and open headers (until my dump project is complete). I haven't run at the track yet but by conservative measures I plan on running into the low-mid 12's with a T-5 trans. If I throw like a 50 or 75 shot on it 1) will I blow up my motor/rear and 2) will I get into the low 11's? I was searching around and saw edelbrock has a nice set up for around $700 for everything.

Just wondering your guys thoughts on the project.

Oh and it's a DD so my other concern is I would be spraying it everywhere around town

Stroked to a 360?

What rotating assembly is in the car?

I have a feeling that trans and rear are on borrowed time even without the N2O.

You are correct they are just kind of left overs until they blow up and get replaced with a T56 and some type of rear unsure at this point what I'm gonna throw up there.

a 50 or 75 shot belongs on a honda and no, it will not pick up 1-1.5 seconds in the quarter. hop on nitrousoutlet.com and check out some of their kits. if you can, talk to your engine builders and see what the bottom end can handle. also, see if the ring gap is for a decent sized (100-150) shot of nitrous. then build the rest of the car to that standard
