Got nailed by a honda civic tonight/early am

Before i talk about this, im not asking for sympathy or anything, just figured id share what happened late tonight.

So im in my z28, omw home from my bouncer job in north wildwood around 3:25 AM and i stop at the Dennisville Wawa (8mins from my house) i get some milk and 2 tastycake apple pies. i leave the wawa, theres nobody behind me whatsoever. as im driving down the straight piece of road, i see headlights in the distance, no biggie. then im like 1000 feet from the rt 47/347 traffic light and i have to make a left turn, so i signal (its a double line, no passing as well) i look in my rearview mirror and see headlights swerve to the left like they were going to pass me, so i audibly say f**kin jerk- before i could finish with the "off", they lost control and nailed my car on the rear driver side quarterpanel and bumper, kinda like a pit manuever. (approx 350am time of accident) I hear a sickening smash and next thing you know, im spinning out. put the clutch in, got on the brakes and countersteered but since they hit me so hard, it was past the point of no return so i cut it back the other way and kept my ride on the road. luckily there was no oncoming traffic bc i wouldve probably been hit head on.

i was going to call 911, but I saw that there was a volunteer fireman already there on the scene. he was on his way home, he actually witnessed the whole thing. he estimated the honda was going approx 90mph when they passed him. another car stopped, and then someone asked if i was drunk, im like "WTF!!!? NO! IM THE ONE THAT GOT HIT! Maybe you should ask the people in the honda that question!" im pretty sure those 2 girls were drinking before driving. i mean how do u lose control on a straight road? all of us walked away unscathed, i called my insurance company and gave them all the info. My car is banged up, but not bad enough where i couldnt drive it home. The hondas rear bumper fell off, it looked like forza 3 out there. Ill get pics later today in the daylight

I drive through that intersection almost every day to and from work... are there still pieces of car out there I should look for when I go past?

oops i left that part out. i was in the z28 :/ The accident happened on the southbound end of 47/347. if youre heading north on 47, itd be approx 1000feet before 347/47 traffic light. look for a few hundred feet worth of skidmarks lol. the volunteer fireman who was on the scene called it in, cops, emt, and more volunteer fireman showed up. I shouldve stuck around to see if the girls were going to get arrested, but i just wanted to get home. I dont know how i didnt flip out, i kinda told myself it wouldnt help the situation, so i was pretty cool, but definately angry. another thing that helped a lil was the fact that there was at least one other witness that saw how fast they were going. its 100% their fault

It's always better to stay level-headed in situations like this. If the other person wants to be aggresive let them be the a-hole with all the witnesses around. I think you've done all you can do for now.

dude, glad youre ok man. christ that sucks, that z28 is, well was, a beauty. that sucks hardcore. take it easy today...maybe get a pizza but damn man. not cool at all. i hope they pay dearly and no underlying injuries surface a few days later.

after doing some thinking, i believe they were passing all 3 of us at high speed ON A DOUBLE YELLOW LINE, saw my left blinker come on, and then tried to get back behind me and thats when the sideswiped/pit maneuvered me

i was thinking the same thing. good thing it was that late, otherwise you'd see pics with heavy front end damage and i'd probably be banged up as well. the girls were cute, i shouldve got their digits haha. i should have the report on monday. the insurance estimator guy hasnt shown up yet but he did call earlier and said they didnt forget about me. and yeah, its pretty crazy how the spoiler/hatch are ok lol
