Odd 5th Gen
On my way home from work I was passed by a nice looking Camaro. The paint was a shade darker than Sunset Orange Metallic with black stripes. The odd thing is that the panel between the brake lights was black and it said Z28 on it and there was a round badge under the camaro badge on the front fender. I thought the Z wasn't going to be around before fall 2011?

Sounds like someone just decided to toss the Z28 badge on it for fun. They are still testing the Z28, but none of the test mules that have been spotted have any badges / style cues uncovered.

Any other time I would agree with you but it looked professional andthere were none of the typical ricer mods. No fart can muffler,Indy car wing,stickers,crappy rims,slim shady driver.

Did they look like old Z28 badges, or something new?
I seriously doubt it was a real Z28. It would be coverd up.

No the Z28 was body color and located next to the passenger side brake lights. The emblem on the front fender was @ 8"

i always say its rice when people put badges on cars that arent their actual car..for example putting a type r sticker on a mustang is rice, same goes for putting z28 badges on a v6 camaro
