someone wanna help me with a brake job?

my camaros brakes are starting to squeek a decent amount. im just going to do all new brakes.
only thing is, i dont know how, and id rather learn myself so i dont have to bring it to a mechanic. can people help me out for a day? im looking to do it sometime in the near future, like a months span...im busy a lot of the time and weekends would be best.

i would come bearing pizza and beer to anyone who wants to help.

PM sent. I'll help ya out if you don't mind driving to PA. I have all the tools just bring the components (Pads, calipers, rotors, fluid, if your doing them too). Oh and if your bringing pizza make sure its a Jersey pie and not the crap they sell on this side of the Delaware.

I'm in Piscataway and willing to give a hand. If all you are doing is rotors/pads, that should be pretty easy.

I'm feeling strangely generous... If you can con Brian to help we can use my house/garage in Somerset. Only problem is when the two of us work together it magically increases the job to 10x how long it should take.

wow thanks everyone i got a lot of responses...i thought it would be harder to find people to help a stranger with a brake job lol. but i guess not. i need to get my paycheck first and i can get the ball rolling on this...
the brakes just squeek sometimes when i gradually slow down, it doesnt shimmy or shake or anything. another member here told me i would just need pads. true story?

 thanks again for everyones help

Squeaks when braking is usually caused by a build up of brake dust on different parts of the braking system and when clamped they vibrate together and make that squeel. That's the big reason for bedding in the pads when you first install them.

can also be the material of the pad. i always recommend a premium ceramic pad and premium rotor with every brake job.

I would do pads and rotors since you dont have the ability to machine them... Otherwise you most likley will get a vibe while braking.
