Anyone Know Anything About the '04-'05 Infiniti G35X?

Hey all,
I finally have a buyer for my Jeep and really like the looks of the older G35X sedans. It would make a great DD - 260hp, AWD, and plenty of passenger space for my wife and kids. Anyone have any experience with them? How reliable are they? The few people I know with Nissans really like them overall, and since it's the parent company, I'm hoping the Infiniti is just as good.

Any opinions welcome!!

They go through brakes really fast, the paint quality isn't there, and you better like the sound of that family of V6s because they're loud. That's the deduction from when I've been in them/what people have told me personally.

Now for factual stuff, these are pulled off Consumer Guide's website

Accessory belt: The A/C belt may squeal or break because the compressor (and its pulley) goes out of alignment. (2003)

Automatic transmission: The automatic transmission may engage slowly, shift hard or into the wrong gear requiring reprogramming of the transmission control module. (2003)

Brake noise: On vehicles not equipped with Brembo calipers, the brakes are noisy, particularly in reverse, requiring replacement of all shims and revised brake pads. (2003-04)

Cold-starting problems: In very cold conditions, the starter may not run and may require replacement of the Intelligent Power Distribution Module. (2004)

Radiator: The radiator cap gasket may swell over time and when it does, will not allow the cap to vent properly resulting in overheating and lost coolant. (2003-04)

the nissan motors run on premium only... the gf had an 00 maxima and never had an issue with it in the 4 years she had it.

i happen to love the sound these motors make

i happen to hate the look of the 4dr g35's... IMHO the maxima of this era looks WAY better and sportier and cheaper
