ITT: Fail.
so after being at diesel nats all day yest, i caught the racing bug. so i decided to take the car out to island today.
...i shoulda just stayed home.
last time i was at the track, best ET was 13.0@118. 2.3 60 on that run. best 60 of 2.2
today. BEST et was 13.7 @ 101 1.9 60. best 60 of 1.8.
things ive done since the last time
LCAs
LCA Relos
TQ arm
26" Hoosiers
Draglites
Drag Shocks.
LT1 Front.
so idk wth is going on. i dont think the Whole in my hood can cause THAT MUCH drag, can it. so it brings me to this...
my car burns ALOT of oil. i find myself adding oil atleast once every 2 weeks. and there is no drip spots under the car ever. i even threw cardboard under it a few times to see. i know its burns oil bc sometimes it puts out some white smoke. Valve Seals? Piston Rings?
CLIFFS:
Went from 13.0 @ 118 to 13.7 @ 101
Added Go fast parts.
hole in hood.
burns oil.

Check the plugs for oil but other sources have mentioned this, "its the 3-4 clutch pack prob".
White smoke would mean coolant but is there any blue to it? The oil is going somewhere so if its not on the floor, its likely being burned.

Compression test, then squirt oil in cylinder and compression test again. Evaluate.
