Power Cell Lithium Vs Red Top Battery
I have been meaning to do a write up on this for a few weeks
The Power Cell lithium is 960 CCA and the Red top is 800CCA. The Power Cell Lithium only weights 9.1 Lbs were the Red top scales in at 39.68 Lbs A total weight savings of 30 Plus Pounds. When you break it down what your willing to spend on other stuff its a great bang for the buck and great weight savings with NO DRAW backs

So far so good on my race car. It performers better then the red top in every way.

I'd rather do a light weight battery then relocate a bigger one in the trunk, with the additional weight, cost and complexity of the cables and all that. at least in a street car. for a DD I'm not sure I'd change anything. But I like simple & reliable in a DD.

Had no clue that even existed. I know with other batteries when you move out of lead acid though the charge rate has to be altered. Guessing thats not the case here ?

Can run your stock alternator with this battery. When you charge them you can use a smart charger or a normal battery charger but MUST be charged on low nothing more or you will damage the battery

red tops suck..... I have been through like 3-4 of them over the years.
Lithium is my next purchase.

How's it do in the winter cold? Had a Braille 15lb in the car until recently. One morning it didn't start, plugged the tender up to it to recharge and it showed "charging" but after hours, then days, the light on the tender didn't change from solid red. Tried hooking it up to my other car w/ jumper cables (and Braille not hooked up to anything) and let it run for 30 mins; nothing. $150 15lb paperweight.
Got a Bosch 75-730B here with 730cca that weighs 32lbs & has a 3yr battery. This car sits more than it gets raced. My stock AC Delco lasted me 12.5yrs without a hiccup; If I get half of that out of this one, I'll be happy.
Definitely chime in as to how this Power Cell Lithium holds up after the winter months and some weeks between starts (pending no battery tender)
