Headed to Vegas in May, Need Suggestions

Work is sending me to Vegas in May for Lightfair International. I will be there for 3 days and traveling alone. The event is mainly during the day so my evenings will be pretty free. I like to gamble a little but curious if anyone has any tips on things to do while I'm out there. (besides hookers and blow)

 | fremont street/old town is neat. heart attack grill might kill you there. don't get the milkshake unless you want to go back to your room and pass out afterwards lol.

do some of the touristy crap - see the waters at bellagio. maybe the outside show at treasure island. just to do it once.

there is a karting place off strip, IIRC over by Rio. supposed to be good.

penn & teller at Rio is funny. half price ticket outlets are your firend.

 | If you haven't been there already, do this. It's cheap and actually pretty cool to see the different casinos and all that stuff. There's a car museum in the Imperial Palace which was good, they had rare stuff when I was there- Like an XJ220, Howard Hughes's New Yorker, etc. Shelby's museum is at LVMS which is supposedly also pretty good.

the rio is a great hotel to check out lots of stuff going on at night. Also late nights at the flamingo with scantily clad women dealers is nice. You can check out old vegas for some cheap gambling, the pawn show is cool as well. Hoover dam and reno were a bust for me last time I went out there. Theres so much just hit up as many casinos as you can and see whats goin on that week, oh and def ride the monorail drunk its wayyy more fun
