Its open Test n Tune. Gates open @ 430. I want to see what the G8 will run bone stock.. Anyone else want to go??

id be down. i havent taken my car to the track since i graduated. gotta see whats goin on later.
last time out was in 05 at maple grove. but that was b4 the tranny and converter. i wana see what its gonna run. should be nice..cool temps at least

Hell yeah.. Your car should run pretty good. What size converter you got in it?

13.6@103.. That was the best of the night. Worst was a 13.8@ 102. We couldnt get the car out of a 2.1 60'. Had a blast and was really suprised by the car. Was wanting to run a 13.9 and ran a 13.6 on my 1st pass..

On a 1.94 60' my best was 13.422 at 105 bone stock with 1,200 miles. I figured with 28,000 miles it would have picked up a little. I guess not. Good runs none the less!
Edit: Did you do the 3rd gear deal?

Nope. Left the car in Normal Shifting mode. I tried sport shifting once and ran a 13.7 but I never manual shifted or held 3rd gear. I didnt know about that until 15 mins ago reading up on it on the G8 forum..

Yeah, leave it in auto until about 80mph then click over to sport and pull back once. That locks it in 3rd through the traps. It's not a problem until you're in the low 13s.

2500 stall...nothing crazy. I wish i coulda went, had money problems at the end of the day tho. fastest the car went b4 was a 13.26@104 2.08 60. that was a cecil and b4 i put the converter and rebuild the trans with 2.73s in th back. im hopin to be the same range, maybe a tenth or 2 faster.
next fri ima have money put aside
