The Flyers just wanted to outscore the Phils! That game was ugly again. You think we would be used to seeing the Flyers go down 1 goal, 2 goals...

They can't keep doing this if they get deeper into the playoffs....you can't do that against teams like Boston or NY....it's a death sentence.

They did it against Boston the year we went to the Finals!! Just relax and enjoy the ride. This team is so young and this is great for them to grow from.

On a side note look at what happened last year against Buffalo, they emptied their tank in that series because they kept playing from behind and nothing left for Boston in the 2nd round...so yeah.....

To use your logic this team is not last years team!! Every team is different so you have no idea what will happen. 2yrs ago they were able to come back and win last year they were not.. This year they have been able to against the team that pretty much everybody picked would win the Stanley Cup. As said before just relax and enjoy the ride!! To have 2 players in a Playoff game have hat tricks in Pittsburghs building is priceless!! I was at the Phillies opener in Pittsburgh that weekend and the Flyers played there as well and all we heard was how the Pens were gonna kick our asses..

I am relaxed, was just making a statement that being behind every game can kill them....especially against better teams deeper in the playoffs...that's all I said....you're reading into it too much.
We're gonna ride this team(in a completely heterosexual way) as far as they go. They're young, they're talented and the rookies have been nothing short of spectacular. Imagine this team with Pronger, JVR and Meszaros in the lineup....sheesh.

I am gonna sit back and just enjoy the Playoffs!! 2 years ago I didnt really expect the team to be in the Finals and look what happened, Last year I expected them to be in the Finals and look what happened, and this year after trading Carter and Richards and having all these rookies I really dont expect them to win it all.
We have a 19 yr old rookie keeping in check of this years best player in Hockey and holding him to 2 assists!! Our Goalie lets in some bad goals but he does keep you in the game and really steps up when he has to.. I really dont care if we go down 2 goals in a game because this team can still sweep the Pens.. I could care less about the next round right now. Just keep beating down these cry babies for now. Thats all that matters. This series has been so physical, Hopefully we can stay healthy for the remainder..

After the trades I expected them to be a 5th or 6th seed and MAYBE a 1st round win(a big maybe). What a surprise they've been. I still think they need to play tighter D(Carle makes me want to drink heavily during the game), though Grossman has been one hell of a pickup.
You're right though, see the Pens down 0-2 it's a beautiful thing.

Stay classy Pens...stay classy. If the league doesn't hand out a few suspensions then most of the teams were right in saying the Pens are the most protected franchise in the NHL.

There was no reason for the crap the Pens were doing and they definitely need some punishment/fines but it's probably too late for it to do anything. The Rangers game Sat had some ugly hits/fights in it too. It's almost like every team is pushing it as far as they can to see what the limit is.

Wow, this has really turned into the ugliest playoff series ever!  WTH are the Flyers doing taking penalty after penalty! Talk about letting Pittsburgh back into the series by playing lame, stupid and giving them confidence. And there are still stupid ugly hits going on.
