Not if we started it this year. I assumed we would draft new this year and then keep or dynasty those people. I didn't draft with the future in mind last year.

We should get this rolling becaucse our draft should be in the next few weeks... Who's running it and what type of league are we going for?
Again, dynasty means you have the option to keep your entire team (or as many players as you want). Keeper leagues have settings so that each owner can only keep a certain amount of players after the season is over. That number is usually 3 or 4.

I've done IDP before, and it's not bad. They don't score you many points, but it's fun to do. The draft takes FOREVER though...

Relax man.....give the guy who ran it last year more than a few hours to respond to a PM. Last year we didn't draft until 2 days before the first game and there were no issues. It's not like we have to get this all finalized before the end of this week.

First of al the draft should be some time during the pre-season, not this early. Too many variables can happen to have the draft before training camps even start

I completely agree. My point was that we all need to decide on what type of league we will be in, so that we can create it and set a date for late next month. People need time to pay up too.

Hey Everybody!
I've been away for a while but it is nice to come back (thanks 88WS-6 for the PM, brought my attention back to this) and find interest in the league again. I'll run the league again unless anyone has any objections to it.
A few thoughts:
Is everyone ok with keeping the $20 buy-in for the league?
I always liked starting new every year, but if a majority wants to do a keeper league I'll do it.
And as for the keeper league: Last years owners would get first chance to come back and claim a spot in the league. If they don't want to come back, then new owners would take over their squads.
Here's a list of last year's owners:

The size of the benches will be smaller this year. If you have any other rule changes or suggestions, post them. We'll see what works and what doesn't.
As Mike said, its too early to have the draft. Once the league is formed, we'll try to find a time and date that works for a MAJORITY of the people. Sometime around the end of August gives training camps enough time to shake things up.
