Ahhhh I got you. I think it would look good. Maybe if you take the z28 emblems off the ground effects and filled in the recessed part where it sat? Give it a cleaner look. ?? Food for thought

Austin barnett makes beautiful, custom emblems...problem a pretty penny but look almost oem. Can do a google search on the name, but here is a sample.
