How low will it be?
How much do the Eibach springs that come in the Bilstein package lower the height of the car? Does any one know? The guy at BMR says its going to lower the car at least an inch, possibly 1 1/2. Is this true?

lol you beat me to it.
Yeah, the first picture of the front is also with the wrong size tire. But it dropped it less in the front and about an inch maybe more in the rear
if you want I can grab two new pictures since its had alot of road time.
Not sure how low you wanted to go but for me I wanted a ltitle more of a drop.

I'm just looking to refresh the suspension. Wasn't looking to lower it.if its only alittle, I don't mind, but one of the salesman at Year One told me, it will drop it by at least an inch all the way round

It's very subtle. I would say at most an inch. Based on what little I have found from people switiching an my own experience.

I'm glad to hear that. I have many issues with my Formula that's lowered 2 inches. I am hereing different things and I'm worried I.bought the wrong kit. They don't say that it lowers the height which is completely misleading.

I think ws6store does and lmperformance didn't or visa versa.
Only issue I have had with them is I hit my long tube friendly chassis mounted torque arm. ..........on a speed bump so now I am super careful on speed bumps. Otherwise no issues with using lifts, jacks, everyday driving and you get s better wheel gap

Did you order a chassis mount to arm or a trans mounted to arm?

Idk. I called BMR and they said I needed an Adj torque arm. So that's what they're sending me.

I'm saying with my springs and a chassis mounted torque arm with a lower then normal torque arm mounting bracket due to the long tubes I have hit it on one or two speed bumps, nothing else though

Don't worry, it wont be this low.....
You can see my chassis mounted Torque arm in the shadow under the car... I had maybe 2" of clearance. Haha.

I'm sending back the torque arm that goes from trans to rear. Some call the other arm a Panhard rod. Gm calls it something else, I forget, but saw it on the shop computer. Now I know I don't need it. My car is basically stock except that it will be about a half inch lower. Since the arm doesn't flex because it bolts directly to the chasis, I'm not wasting my money on a street car. I don't launch it, so I'm spending $320 I don't have to at the moment. That arm doesn't go bad. It doesn't move. I have a new polurethene mount for the torque arm I ready have.

That torque arm would be fine. Won't be any lower to the ground the stock.
Your stock one could still have bad bushings. But your call
The one I was reffering to mounted to the chassis and about 3-4" lower

Their us only one bushings on the stock torque arm. I have a new poly one. So really, that's all that needs replacing. Should be like new now.

Me too lol. So I'm going to put the new Torque Arm from BMR onto my 02 Formula. I've already i welded in sub frame connectors. I've also got a new Panhard rod from BMR. After installing the shocks and springs, the height is about 1/2" lower than before. Doesn't hit over speed bumps, so I'm happy.
