Maybe not fireworks but I think one of your torque converter bolts will be falling from orbit sometime that week.

Let's hope no fireworks from any cars. Fireworks are illegal though.

Maybe.... but I can't commit yet. hour and a half is far, especially if I have a chance of my rear kabooming from DRs. I'd love to see what my car can do with just a catback, gears and "suspension" :P

You act like the instant you put a set of tires on the car, its going to break.

I have 315 Nitto NT05s on it right now and I have a heart attack when I punch it lol.

I know some people have done tons of launches on their stockers, but I have heard people break them instantly, even on non DRs. I just get so paranoid.

Offtopic kinda but:

Yeah the vibration rattled my ring gear loose from the posi in my original rear lol. I bought a "good" used rear from a guy on the internets to try to see if my vib went away and sold my other rear. Wish I just kept pressing on the pinion angle but hey... I was going crazy lol.

Vibration is actually really good now after fine tuning the pinion angle. I am going to measure from the shifter to get a true transmission angle. I did some more reading that my trans shouldn't be anymore (more negative) than -3*. (tailshaft of trans pointing to ground).

Anyway, my rear has a little hum to it. I've never had a quiet rear, even after my original rear was totally rebuilt
