Interesting. I didn't know they started doing that. I'm not sure how beneficial that would be other than cooler temps. Folks tend to enjoy getting there early, taking some time for setup and not have to worry about having a super late evening (with work potentially the next day). I will still inquire for details.

Colder track, lack of visibility, poorer pics/vids. What's not to love? If the rentals went till 5 or 6, that would be good for DA chasing.

It would be like going for test n tune. No different. Only problem with nite time is dew but none of us are going that fast to notice it. Well maybe only a select few are

We get some pretty good DA in the AM so racing at night doesn't offer too much of a benefit. This event normally runs towards the end of the season so temps may fall too low in the evening to race.
Still waiting for my call back. I normally deal with Kevin but it appears someone else may be organizing the events. I will call again today.

Too cold to drag race? Remember when Atco would stay open year round? If it wasn't raining or snowing they opened the gates and never lacked a crowd of people going for PR's in the cold air. lol

Things have changed. I've been there when it was 36 deg and they ran but eventually called it. Folks were starting to ice skate.

I've been there when the hose was frozen and they couldn't have a water box. It wasn't any more fun then in a 50-60 degree day.
