They usually only test cars that are new for the model year.

The GM cars did impressively well, as did the Viper. The R8 is surprisingly low on the list.

I didn't know a 1LE came in a 6. How much would a V6 1LE run? I'm just trying to compare it mathematically to the 2015 STI which ran 13 min 10.5 seconds and is about $35k

Playing around with Chevy.com it says to contact dealer for 1LE price.

This is the first year the 1LE is coming on the V6. I forget the price of the package, it's online somewhere.

So the GT350R was a tad faster than the V8 1LE, can't wait to see the ZL1 rape it.

C&D Video on YT says that the V6 one they tested came in at 43k. The SS 1LE was 44k.
