Not a fan of most new cars/trucks but new m5 wow! (wipes drool off face)

			https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-car...s-photos-info/
Besides the vette, the silverado and the tahoe, most new cars are just ehhh to me... not worth the money, ugly, or have some weird thing about them (ram 1500 knob shifter)

Then I see this beauty. the 2019 m5 bmw, selectable 2wd, 4wd or 4wd sport.

0-60 in 3.1-3.2 seconds. Just when I thought I might be loosing some interest in cars... bam lol

New V6 Camaros put out more power then a 3rd gen. I've driven a few of the newer M3's and I'm a fan, I couldn't imagine an M5.

I'm sure a lot of the old farts on here who lived through the muscle car era of the 60s will scoff, but we are living in the golden age of speed right now.
You can get a Camry with nearly as much horsepower as my LS1 Camaro came with. That still boggles my mind.

The m5's are fun but all of these cars have so many electronics they don't have that raw feeling anymore. It will most definitely pin you to the seat.
Haven't tried it in RWD mode yet since most I see at this point are all before the 1200 mile break in, the others we dont have the front/rear diff fluids in stock to do during the 1200 so im going to avoid trying it just yet

Problem with the halo cars such as the M5 is that once the warranty runs out, pain is always around the corner - whether it be routine maintenance or something breaking - electronic or otherwise, it costs a fortune each time.

Not saying that all new cars aren't like that - they are for the most part, but certain models will hollow out your bank account way too quickly.
