I have one of the 3 prong gear pullers that you can flip around and pull from the inside as well. You're welcome to try it if you want.
How big is the hole? If it's 1" then you might be able to put in a t-handle boat plug and expand it and try pulling it out.

I have a lifter puller, the slide hammer type but it might not be small enough to it there.
