I smell a lock comin' towards this thread.

Personally, I'm still learning myself so any wisdom thrown around on this board is useful.

i think the first thing you have to accept here is that not everyone "hates" you. tsar does, but god hates him anyway, so that really doesn't count.
i was jsut trying to point out that you took your own thread off topic. you started out with a legit question and went into talking about yet another drivetrain combination.
all you have to do is keep your posts on point to avoid getting bagged on.

to run TBI you have to convert the computer and harness along with changing intakes again, converting to an electric pump, plumbing in fuel return lines and all the other fun of going to fuel injection.
keep it simple matt!!! the wires are all different colors. pull the wire loom off the burned part and start at one end. take one wire at a time and follow it acrossed the burned section. if jsut the sleeving is cooked, throw some electrical tape on and call it done. if wires are damaged, cut out the f'ed up part and splice in soem fresh wire that is the same thickness.
you keep talking about conversions to different inductions adn engines and everything else. just work with what you have. if the LG4 does in fact die at some point you can always swap all the same stuff onto another 305 or 350 or any gen1 SBC if you want. even then, you will get to enjoy a running car for a while and learn a lot while you work on it.

Wait. 3rd gen matt sie tracked his own thread? DAmn that sux. If i were u i'd just splice in new wire. It isnt that hard. If ur serious about a trade... I'll trade u a totaly taken apart Old 305 motor for ur WHOLE car. Then ill spend a few hrs on a sat to fix the wiring. Then tear up the streets in ur car which will then be my car. I'll do this until i realized im in a turd gen then drive it back to ur house had u the title and be done with it.

Only thing i had close to a fire was in the 67. besides the 18 foot flames with the open headers, i put a torker II manifold on it. My buddy was helping me. I went inside for something so he put the carb on for me. Came back out looked it over and started the car. One foot flames decided to make its wayt out the pass. side underneath the carb. Damn moron friend didnt replace the gasket and with out taking the carb off i could see it. So about 30 mins later i was tearing up the streets and my hand hurt cuz i bitch slapped my buddy until he couldnt talk.

Why dont u like space station? I meet him the other night at hooters. Cool guy. Funny too. Any how i think u should have ur moms drive u around till u ppl. find a garage with an ASE certified sign and bring ur car there. This is why i will not let MY 14 yr. old bro touch my car.

matt, take off the covering and look at the wiring, replace anything that looks melted. its just safer then find out what really went wrong that way u kno what needs to be fix so ur not re-doing ur wiring

im an ******* to stupid and fat people because they deserve it. If you havent noticed other members dont really have a problem with me. i mean is it so hard to educate yourself on simple things and stop being a complete retard. go to howstuffworks and read the whole entire website if thats what it takes for him to learn anything. i know some people are way slow when it comes to learning but i dont think anyone is quite as retarded as wayfast. **** even look at this thread how many times does each member have to restate what was said before. and what does wayfast do? puts up his roasted car for trade, for a 4th gen! riiight. i cant stand stupidity, i wish there was a population control and i was in charge.

Is that the best you can come up with, a ****tard? i feel bad...nahh not really. Im actually pretty smart. Most likely you'll never be able to reach my level, its just honest to god truth. Most likely at one point in your life you'll end up asking me if i want fries with that or if you can shine my shoes for a few extra quaters. But hey its ok the world needs people like you too. Oh about your trade, one of the cars that you want to trade your "roaster" for is 4th gen, so yes u did put it up. Why dont you go back to highschool kiddo.

ohh and 2 moutnain bikes and 500 bucks offer still stand, PM me when you're ready to trade.

Thy Wayfast84 quote "****tart", not "****tard"
And I second the whole trade for 4th gen, thats what you said in classifieds. You might be able to get Kasey's 4th gen... if he totals it. Its just common sense man, you just need to manage your thoughts cuz talking to you is like talking to a crowd of kids with different opinions and plans on different things... you change plans like a mother changes a newborn's diaper... you wouldnt be getting picked on this much if you did the C:>Format Mod to your several alter egos. Nobody hates you, its just that most people just find you annoying and irritating with the way you post ****. No hard feelings tho
