U forgot to add bad choice in motor selection.
Dude, you should just opt for an LS1 swap. You WILL save yourself ****loads upon ****loads of hassle, and its more HP for the buck. Im being serious too. Plus, you'll enjoy doing something productive with your car and not building ricey smallblocks/v6's on the side. Just my opinion.

like i said its deff got ign problems,weather its limite dto that or its a bad ecm i dont know at this point.im betting on the ecm considering the cars got a new ign moudle/pickupcoil/plugs/wires in it,all replaced this week.when we threw the timming light on it it was actually pulling timming instead of advancing it>whgich could explain the poping in the ex.but that still dosent explain the lack of boost.regardless of timming i still should have had more boost

Yes.
Im not saying that cuz I own one, and not cuz I love the N/A Torque on Demand... but it seems to me, Dave, that ur spending more time dropping in unreliable motors than driving the thing. This is just my 2 cents so dont take it personally. The only thing I see you getting out of these V6's is the fact that you are prolly the only one in a hundred-million that will ever touch the internals on those godforaken motors (sorry Liz ) You will save money, hassle, and time just resorting to an LS1.

um..well in that case its not v8s fault its just your iroc doesnt "rock" i guess. i bet there are a few people that will get better mileage out of their v8 on the highway then that v6t. what does that thing get?

With the way ur spending money on these v6's, I think u coulda at least done an LS1/T56 swap twice. LS1 swaps can be done anywhere from $4000 - $6000, maybe more if u wanna go internally.

u know ur right but a v6 motor when i blow one up is around 100$'s the turbo system cost me next to nothing.compared to the cost of the ls1 swap the only thng internally i need to change in each motor is pistions,they already have forged rods and cranks.this motor would have had forged pistions but when i blew up the last motor i hurt one of the pistions,and didnt have time to order a replacement.due to the car also being a daily driver.everyoen has the good days and bad days.this was just a really bad day.mostly due to me being stuburn though.this is only motor #3.#1 was just to swap from the 2.8 to the 3.1.and the #2 was just cause that nigh ti got in a fight with the gf i purposly blew it up.this will actually be the first motor ive blown up in the car if ya get what i mean.

car = 800
turbo setup complete 750$
motor = 100 bucks
i didnt spend alot of money on it never have,the only thing ive spent alot of money on is the building of this 3.4.th eonly thing original being used is the 3.4 block.im waiting on my aftermarket crank to get that together.and hell even the heads i got for it i got for nothing.and any labor involed is free its just my time
im not mad i blew it up,its my fault but it was a bone stock motor as well,had this been the 3.4 id be really pissed

why not use a tta type setup (not its parts, but its layout) that way you can actually get a piping kit rather than fab up all that jungle-gymness

well to be honest when i first decided to turbo this thing it was never supposed to go this far.it was pretty much i got all the necassary parts,didnt have any kind of turbo car to look at,and put it together.it dosent mater anyway my problems weren't with the plumbing and layout.
this originally was supposed to be hey lets throw a turbo on it and run 5psi.but it just turned into more then that along the way
