I didnt read the thread fully but I have an OFNA LX One gas and a 2 speed Losi electric. If I could get the OFNA to run well, it would be insane

I have a hate for gas cause of my OFNA. Ill shorten my agony.

I bought the OFNA RTR. I idled it to break it in for 2 tanks. I then took it to a parking lot to run it for 2 more tanks. I have the RF interference mod installed and all. I break one tank in, then my wife comes to see what Im doing. As she stands near me the farker glitched and went WOT into a curb (Rated 50 MPH) head on. Car was mangled. Chassis buckled, lost dog bones, all 4 A arms gone, cracked fuel tank... Had to basically be rebuilt and it was friggin 2 days old.

I get it back then proceed to ruin the muffler and now it wont start. 500.00 for 3 days of fun and it now sits in its origional box. My 2 speed Losi (Electric) still runs great and was clocked by a cop car at 54 MPH. Too bad its basically a pan car.

that stinks to hear, mine takes off sometimes on me sofar ( knock on wood ) its never eaten a curb over 10mph. most of the time when it takes off it goes into a spin and does doughnuts.

I forget what they are called, failsafe maybe? but they go inline with the throttle servo that will apply neutral or full brakes whenever you go out of radio range. You should have one on every gas car you own, cause they can end up flying and really destroying other things. As far as ofna motors, they are very finicky. I have a thunder tiger 21 in mine and it makes more power than the stock one and runs great, all the time. I just need to tune it a tiny bit between winter and summer.
