Selling RPM Resto&Custom Shirts to Raise Funds...
Ok guys I'm almost done developing my website but I'm flat broke right now. Â*I'm thinking about having some black t-shirts made up with the company logo on the front like this http://community.webshots.com/photo/...97677704OuUMuI and the flame logo on the back like this http://community.webshots.com/photo/...97183386KNXPwA.
I am going to talk to some people I know about having them made up and I'll probably sell them for about $2 profit. Â*This money will be used to purchase the domain name, web hosting, and to register the business name. Â*These are only the first steps in a long process ahead and I won't be doing any actual business for about a year but I need the money to start coming in somehow plus the shirts should look cool and you guys would be helping me get the name out early.
If you're interested just post on here...I'll keep a list and I'll get you guys a final price after I talk to some printing places. Â*Thanks!
PS- Can one of the moderators make this a sticky?

Then after you launch the company you need to change the t-shirt design so that those of us who bought one, own a collectable after the company goes public. Right?
I need more "collectable" stuff to sell on ebay to support my other addictions.

I suppose you can do what OCC did - sell in every K-mart, mall kiosk, and Kohl's. Â*Then you have to develop a video game. Â*
C'mon Paul, yer slackin!

Put me up for one.
And no, I've got nothing better to do at work right now than be a post whore until my meeting in 15 mins.

No definite price yet. I'm going to talk to some places next week to get some numbers. I'll consider switching the logos around, but I think I like it the way I planned it.
I won't count the last two as definites until I get a price and you give me a for sure.

i say have one of the designs centered and big on the front of it...and have the other design small and centered inbetween the shoulder blades, towards the top, on the back. something different and modern.

Nice... all these t-shirts and I won't ever have to go to a busy Mall again! I hate crowds and you'd think with my height it wouldn't bother me but it does.

i want to support your efforts because of the new business and all, but i don't want to buy a t-shirt that i'll never wear. i'll have to see one in person in order to say definitively whether i'd buy one or not.
i'm also not knocking your design skills. i'm just very particular about what kind of clothes i wear. way back when i worked for 7-11 and all of the cig vendors were knocking us over with their t-shirts not to mention all of the other freebies and the natural collection of Ts, so my closet is full of t-shirts that i don't wear (or only wear under another shirt).
lemme know when they're printed.

No problem....I'm probably going to order 25-30 of them so I have some extras. I have a friend of mine with family in the t-shirt business working on prices for me right now. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll have a set price.

Make sure it says "Limited Edition" on it. Even if my car isnt a classic years from now, maybe my shirt will be. :P
