[rant]if you are ever close enough to boyd coddington to see him please shoot him. i hate lazy half assed dick wads that get tons fo credit for ordering up hot rods out of catalogs and charging $100k to put them together. he needs to hurry up and die so that real hot rodders can get back in the limelight.[/rant] lol

When you get down to it, Boyd is no different than Joel Rosen from Motion Performance or Don Yenko. Not a lot of skills involved with these guys, they just put together a package that people drool over so they turn into heroes. They are businessmen trying to make a buck. I can't believe people will pay $400-500K for a Boyd hot rod when he doesn't even touch them, just a bunch of kids playing around with tools.

Thanks man! 6 years of work, since i ran out of money alot. I doubt I will run the car because I just had an appraisal, and cant take the risk...Ya never know though...maybe the end of the summer but i will only be able to make one pass before i get booted out. 13.5 and faster in a convertible needs a cage...

Yeah man, I got my new rear view mirror today, the Steel braided lines with AN fittings for the tranny cooler and some other small odds and ends today. I'm still trying to decide whether to get an ATI converter, or just take out the TH350 and go with a 4-speed Muncie. I can always use the th350 for the nova, so i wouldnt be wasting anything. I will be heading down to the 6 Flags outlets (Jackson Outlets) car show on friday, so if anyone is planning on being around there drop by, should get a good turnout!
