Need Survivor Video Ideas
Ok guys I'm trying out for Survivor next week and need ideas for a 3 min. video. Tryouts are at Great Adventure next week and you can either bring a video with you or they will tape you for 2 minutes there. I have a feeling a crazy video from home will be much better but have no ideas on what I can do.
Give me all your crazy ideas....I'm up for anything.

You live in NJ and Road Rage has a hold on you...
Talk about how you hate your job behind a desk (even if you don't) and that you know you've got the body and mind to beat the other chumps they pick for their stupid reality TV show. Not sure if I'd tell them their reality show is stupid... might go with retarded or worthless so as to be more offensive. These guys probably don't want a cookie cutter interview. Might remind them that NJ is too crowded and to survive in the state you need to have a strong mid set, blah blah blah. Good luck. And ONLY if you make it onto the show will I watch it :P

well figure you have several angles you can go with since they always cast:
1 gay guy
1 black guy
1 person that has survival training of some sort
1 angry at the world person(see above)
1 supermodel guy
so you've got a few different ways you can go to get in.

ok so between now and next week I need to turn into a gay black green beret that's hot as hell.
I can work the survival training angle from being an Eagle Scout and since Chevy is one of their sponsors I can show off the tattoo I have on my back and tell them how much Chevy will love the extra advertising.

I would go with the tattoed tough guy thing - explain who you are, that you are sick of your desk job and that you are getting your own business off the ground. I'm sure they like people who are motivated....

Yeah I was going to go with that type of edge....not necessarily tough guy, more rustic and unpolished for corporate America.

Definitly try to play the eagle scout angle. Dont do too much crazy stuff, you're not trying out for Jackass. Try to show them that you are a rough and tough eagle scout with badass tats 8) . If that doesnt get you in, I dont know what will.

Went for the open audition today. Not impressed at all. I had a video made already where I just talked about myself while I got changed from work clothes to garage clothes...very laid back.
When I got there they just took your app and video and had you talk about yourself for 2 minutes into a camera and sent you on your way.
