Super Enzo
euh....I think the Enzo is somewhat a good looking car..but this thing is just fugly! More wings than your average ricer! Im sure all those wings have a function--but come on Ferrari, have some taste. the front is ok, but that back is just sick

"Ferrari says participants “will actually be joining Team Ferrari, and will have their driving experiences at the wheel of this new car monitored directly by the Prancing Horse’s technicians and specialists."
Talk about customer service. It's basically a detuned bodied F-1 car, especially with the new Ferrari trans that can change gears in 100 milliseconds or less. Screw the whole shifter thing, just press the button!

I read in the article in the paper that the Enzo you see there is not a special edition, but just a test mule that Ferrari made to test future technology, and is from the original batch of Enzo's.
The number 399 will stand.

I might be one of the only ones who finds that car ugly as sin, but I would kill to get to drive it for 5 minutes. There is also a nothing in common between an 800 hp civic, and an 800 hp Ferrari besides the hp numbers.

I like the appearance but agree with you on the comparison between the civic and Enzo. Both have 4 wheels... another number that is the same... and then not really.

Enzo's brake rotors are probably as big as the wheels on the Civic.

i read that too, but it looks like they were lying. this car isn't called the Enzo anymore, though. it's the FXX.

I wonder if this is a test platform for the F60. It is that time again.

the Enzo's code name in development was the F60.
although, "FXX" does make it seem like a placeholder name. the XX will probably be replaced by a set of numbers. seeing as the Enzo was the F60, perhaps the FXX will become the F70?

It won't be the 70 as the 'F' series program represents a milestone for each decade that Ferrari has been in business, one car every ten years. It started with the F40 to celebrate 40 years of Ferrari and it was the last car that Ferrari himself built (the father) and that was 1985 or 1986 I believe. Didn't know the Enzo was codenamed the F60, but if they released it with the name Enzo after the son, then the F60 is still on it's way.

The F50 was originally going to be the "FX".
